It often surprises people when they meet someone who is a native of the Triangle Area. I have seen and experienced the changes from small college towns to vibrant centers of employment... from tobacco to technology. It’s a wonderful and diverse place. Growing up in Durham, I spent my early years in a small school in Hillsborough and riding horses in the pastoral beauty of the farmlands. As a young adult, I enjoyed the Tarheel dream of living in Chapel Hill and meeting up with friends on Franklin Street, after school and work. I attended Meredith College in Raleigh, to obtain my teaching certification and lived inside and outside the beltline, teaching art in year round schools. While my husband grew up in Richmond, he and most of his family migrated back to their ancestral home of Apex. Ultimately, we dreamed of a rural life in Chatham County and purchased land where we could walk to the Haw River and built a home in 1997. We are thankful to be raising our two sons here in the quiet woods. We are also aware that this area will continue to grow and attract other people to the lifestyle offered here and the surrounding areas. As a real estate professional, I know that purchasing or selling real estate is a data driven, analytical exercise and a very personal experience that requires trust. People’s individual ideas of “home” are combined with important financial considerations. With a background in education, it is important to me that you have information to rely on and that we develop effective communication so that you find what works best for you. Having design and marketing experience, I want to help you optimize your investment and will be there beyond closing to answer questions. Real estate is a very local business and I hope that you will contact me to start a conversation about your real estate needs, interests and dreams.
